...creativity through a series of drama skills workshops and ensemble building. Our areas of focus may include improvisation, scene study, monologue, voice over, song and dance, stage combat, and so much more. While we do all work together a lot of the time, our actors may break out in groups, depending on how many actors are enrolled. This gives us an opportunity to challenge our more advanced actors and give them a chance to work at a faster pace, while giving different material and working at a pace that is suitable for our less experienced actors as well.
Acting Out is more like a theater community than a camp. We want to give them freedom to play, create and explore the theatrical world, while making connections and friendships that one might build if they were in a long running show.
We will not be doing an in person showcase for this mini camp, however, we will film their accomplishments in a variety show type style, and send you a link to view from home.
